Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Lalioo website and its early-access waitlist. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What Lalioo is right now
Lalioo is a language-learning product in development. This website is informational: it describes what we’re building and lets you join an early-access waitlist. The product itself is not yet available.
Lalioo is not yet registered as a legal entity. It is operated by Carlos Bentes and Bruna Freitas, A. Haava 7a, Tartu, Estonia. These terms are an agreement between you and them until a legal entity takes over operation.
The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist is free and voluntary.
- A waitlist spot is not a promise of access, features, pricing, or a launch date. Everything we describe — planned features, future ideas, timelines — may change or may never ship.
- You can leave the waitlist at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- submit email addresses that aren’t yours or that you don’t control;
- use bots, scripts, or automation to abuse the signup forms;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its services.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, design, graphics, and branding — belongs to Lalioo. You may not copy or reuse it commercially without our permission. Sharing links to the site is, of course, welcome.
Your data
How we handle personal data (your email) is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The site and waitlist are provided “as is”, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the site or from relying on information about a product that is still in development. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product develops. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Estonian courts. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this doesn’t affect any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings there.
